Wei Peng

Wei Peng has been involved with several federally funded projects involving the application of interactive games in a healthcare context, including the use of haptics in a virtual environment for stroke rehabilitation. She has interests in games and learning as well. Her dissertation focused on the use of computer games to promote healthy life styles in young females. Her research interests also include the social and psychological impacts of communication and information technologies, entertainment education using computer games, human-computer interaction and human-robot interaction, and utilizing technologies for health communication.
She has a Ph.D. and M.A. from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California and a B.A. in English from Tsinghua University in China.
